• 負責主辦的民間組織認為，本港成功申辦在於社會一直致力推動多元共融，且態度日趨開放包容，獲國際認同。組織又擬將運動會本土化，為競技項目及活動增添扒龍舟、設舞獅和中國書法等港式元素。
